players favour when playing with a European wheel due to the fact that there are

The Roulette Table
The roulette table is a large betting area where players can place chips on the
inside or outside part of the table. The inside betting will be all the numbers
that range from 0-36. Each number is either a red or black colour depending on
how it relates to the wheel. Players usually have to have a minimum amount of
money on the inside when placing bets. Make sure to see the table minimums.
The outside of the table are the squares that players can bet on that are not exact numbers. They include betting on: Red, Black, Odd, Even, dozen bets and column bets. Players are betting on the chance that the number chosen will be black or red.
Roulette Chips
Players that are playing the inside numbers will have to exchange their chips or
cash for roulette style coloured chips. This makes the game easier to play as
all the different players can keep track of their inside betting. The chips only
have value at the specific table and cannot be used anywhere else in the casino.
Players must exchange the chips back in order to be able to cash out. Roulette
chips can range in value and it is up to the croupier to keep track of how much
the chip is worth.
All other chips can be played on the outside of the table and can be used
anywhere else in the casino for table games.
Roulette Betting
Outside Betting is placing your chips on the above outside bets that will give
players a return of 1:1. If a player was to bet $25 on Red and the number came
up red then they will get $25 from the house. The outside bets are the easiest
to play and are great for new players to the game due to the straightforwardness
of the game.
Inside Betting
Players might think that inside betting is pretty straight forward as well. It
is but there are many combinations that players can bet on. Player can bet on a
variety of numbers by placing one chip on a certain part of the table. The more
numbers the less of a return player will receive. Below are the type of bets
that players can wager on the inside of the table.
Split Bet – Placing a chip in between two numbers signifying the ball will land on either one. This pays out 17:1.
Street Bet - A wager on three numbers. This is signified by a player putting
a chip in the middle of the three numbers they believe will win. This pays out
11-1.
Corner Bet – A wager on four numbers of the roulette wheel. This is done by a
player placing a chip in the middle of the four numbers on the table. Bet pays
8-1.
Five Number Bet- A wager on 5 numbers and it pays 6-1.
Double Street Bet – a bet on 6 numbers by placing a chip on the on the outer
half of the six numbers and it pays 6-1.
